This gorgeous Kawai US-50 Professional Upright Piano has been completely rebuilt by DoReMi Musical Instrument Co. in Hamamatsu, Japan, bringing this exceptional Japanese upright back to like-new condition. The US-50 has a warm, rich Kawai tone and a balanced, responsive touch that makes it a pleasure to sit down and play.
The restoration was completed in Hamamatsu, Japan, a city known as the heart of Japan’s piano industry and home to both Kawai and Yamaha. DoReMi specializes in sourcing high-quality Japanese pianos and completely restoring them for musicians around the world.
DoReMi’s history in the piano industry goes back to 1947, when the company was founded as a manufacturer of piano bass wire. In the late 1970s, the company expanded into piano restoration, and by the 1990s had begun exporting fully reconditioned Japanese pianos internationally. Their restoration team includes highly experienced technicians, including craftsmen who spent their careers working on major Japanese piano manufacturing lines.
